Account Manager - Panel shop

Process Panel Shop (PPS) is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of Account Manager that has proven experience Managing control panels manufacturing shop.

Main job responsibilities:

-The Account Manager has complete P&L responsibilities within their department

-Main role is to Manage overall operations of panel ship, this includes seeking new opportunities, understanding customer expectations, estimating of material and labor, preparing proposal and securing orders.

-Manage execution to customer satisfaction, and drive project closure

-Maintain healthy margin by managing budget and schedule

-Maintain positive relations with existing customers

-Ability to generate leads for potential work which will include cold calling – disciplined to provide weekly activity/sales records.

-Ability to work with a multitude of different vendor’s hardware to execute required duties and responsibilities.

-Increase in market penetration at the expense of competition as well as Greenfield business opportunities – new work requests from current versus previous business cycles.

-Prepare and lead technical reviews and presentations with customers.

-Maintain a constant lookout for potential projects that might suit any of the Process Group business units and report those leads back to the respective Division Managers.

-Complete sales reports, bid registers, record of marketplace contacts and other related standard Company reporting.

-Work with other sales estimators and Process Group’s marketing department to compliment the services of the Company structure and to further enhance market position.

-Instruction of staff, in conjunction with the Manager, on the specifics of the project estimate and schedule to facilitate knowledge transfer to staff who are responsible for detailed executing the work.

Qualifications: Post secondary degree/diploma in engineering/technology combined with minimum 6 years of experience in panel shop sales role.
